Our turning department consists of five CNC lathes of various designs and sizes, with between 4 and 7 axis machining. One group leader is responsible for the technology and personnel issues in a department. The group leader works with a production coordinator, who also provides the marketing department with information for offers via MasterCam. Our production department has combined daytime, two-shift and unmanned operations. The group monitors quality through first-item-control, continuous measurements according to plan and last-item-control.
